Why Hawaii Feels Like Home, A Soul Memory Awakening

There are places that feel beautiful and then there are places that feel like they have been waiting for you.

For me, Hawaii (especially Maui) has always carried that deeper feeling. Every time my feet touch the sand, every time the ocean wraps around my ankles, every time the plumeria scent fills the air…something inside me exhales and whispers:

“You’re home.”

And during this recent trip on Kauai and Maui, that feeling became “remembered". The land, the water, and the energy awakened something ancient within me. A familiarity. A recognition. A soft internal knowing that felt older than this lifetime.

As I moved through the islands on grounding walks, hikes, releasing my lei into the ocean, connecting with friends, listening to the birds and waves; I began to understand why Hawaii has always felt so sacred.

What I thought was simply a love for the islands has turned out to be something much deeper:

- a Lemurian memory awakening

- my astrocartography activating

- my Sagittarius soul coming home to a place it knew long before this life

Let me explain.

Many spiritual and intuitive traditions speak of Lemuria, an ancient civilization believed to have existed across the Pacific long before recorded history. Lemuria is described as a peaceful, heart-centered society rooted in unconditional love, oneness, healing, intuition, and deep harmony with the natural world. Sounds Magical right? ✨

According to these teachings, the Hawaiian Islands are considered the last visible peaks of that ancient land, the physical remnants of a spiritual civilization that sank beneath the ocean.

Whether taken literally, symbolically, or energetically, people with Lemurian memories often experience:

- an immediate sense of belonging in Hawaii

- an emotional or spiritual activation when touching the land, ʻāina  

- heightened intuition, healing abilities, and inner guidance

- a deep feeling of peace and unity

- the sense of “I’ve been here before”

During this trip (and on past trips), I felt all of it. 

• Walking the Maha’ulepu Heritage Trail and unexpectedly landing on a golf course, a perfect metaphor for trusting the path even when it surprises you.

• Swimming under the #4 waterfall near Twin Falls, the sacredness of being alone with the water as if the land had made space for me.

• Grounding myself with all my senses upon arrival (my feet in the water, the birds singing, the scent of flowers, the sound of the ocean) feeling the land hold me.

• Releasing my lei into the ocean in ceremony, letting go and letting the current carry what I no longer needed. 

Every moment felt intentional. Guided. Remembered.

The land was speaking in a way I understood without words.

Astrocartography Insights, because I got more curious...

As a Sagittarius born on December 18th, I naturally carry the energy of expansion, intuition, spiritual wisdom, and ancient memory. But what surprised me was how strongly my astrocartography (the map of how planetary energies influence different places on Earth) confirmed everything I feel in Hawaii.

Hawaii awakens my sense of ease, connection, and home. Venus lines create places where the heart softens and the soul feels embraced. This is exactly how Maui feels to me, like my energy and the island’s energy blend effortlessly.

Moon Energy — Past-Life Memory & Intuition

Moon lines stir ancient memories, emotional truth, and the feeling of “I know this place.” The Moon is also linked with Lemuria. This is the energy that explains my profound emotional grounding upon my arrival on Kauai, as if the land remembered me too. I was there for my first time last year. I have been on Maui seven times and really feel energy. 

Neptune Energy — Spirituality, Psychic Gifts & Mystical Connection

Neptune activates intuition, healing abilities, and otherworldly remembrance. Many people with Lemurian ties also have strong Neptune activations in Hawaii. This matches the spiritual clarity I felt near the waterfalls, in ceremony, and every time I listened to the ocean. In addition, I usually have a Reiki session or two and magical things seem to occur there!

Sagittarius Sun Activation — Purpose, Faith & Expansion

My Sag soul comes alive in places that expand my heart and consciousness. Hawaii does exactly that, it reminds me of who I am becoming, not just who I have been.

This combination (Moon, Neptune, Venus, and Sag activation) creates a powerful vortex of remembrance, intuition, healing, abundance, and soul alignment.

It’s no wonder I feel at home.

It’s no wonder I receive messages, clarity, and inspiration here.

It’s no wonder my heart feels wide open on Maui, well and now Kauai.

Hawaii activates the very essence of why I’m here in this lifetime.

Beyond the beauty, beyond the energy, Hawaii carries the vibration of Aloha (not just a word, but a way of being):

• love

• compassion

• presence

• unity

• harmony with all that is

This is the same vibration Lemuria was said to embody.

So, when I feel at home in Hawaii, it isn’t just nostalgia.

It’s soul resonance.

It’s memory.

It’s alignment.

It’s activation.

Aloha is the frequency my soul recognizes because it’s the frequency my soul comes from. 🌺
